When to Go for a Safari

There are two rainy seasons in Kenya: from March to May, and October to December. The high season are in between.

Photography

For photographers, the best time is August and September when millions of wildebeests migrating from the Masai Mara to the Serengeti take place and they cross the crocodile infested Mara river.

In order to take good wildlife pictures bring a DSLR camera and a 200mm or 300mm lens at a minimum.
